To address this concern, we have implemented a Dead Fish Return Policy that allows you to return a deceased fish within 7 days of the original purchase. To initiate the return process, please follow the guidelines outlined below:

Conditions for Return:

  1. Timeframe: The dead fish must be returned within 7 days of the original purchase.

  2. Physical Body and Water Sample: To process your return, we require both the deceased fish's physical body (picture or video proof also accepted) and a water sample from the aquarium or environment in which the fish was kept. Please ensure that the water sample is properly stored to maintain its integrity.

Return Procedure:

  1. Contact us: Send an email to or call our Customer Support at 720-219-0303 to inform us of the deceased fish and your intent to return it.

  2. Provide Details: In your communication, please include your order number, the species of the deceased fish, and a brief description of the situation leading to the fish's demise.

  3. Schedule Return: We will work with you to schedule a suitable time for the return.

  4. Return the Fish and Water Sample: At the agreed-upon time, bring the deceased fish, along with the water sample, to our store located at 6771 E 50th Ave Commerce City CO 80022.

Refund/Replacement Options:

Upon receiving the deceased fish and water sample, we will assess the situation. Depending on the circumstances, you may be eligible for one of the following options:

  1. Full Refund: If the fish's death is attributed to factors beyond your control, such as a pre-existing health condition or a fault on our part, we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the fish.

  2. Replacement: In the event that the fish's death is due to an issue with the fish's health at the time of purchase, we will offer a replacement fish of the same species, subject to availability.

  3. Store Credit: Alternatively, you may opt for store credit, which can be used towards future purchases.
