Welcome to Aqua Rocks Colorado! We are delighted to have you as a valued customer. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase from our store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions:

  1. Return Policy:
  • You have a 14-day return window from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange for eligible items.
  • In case of a return, the cost of the initial shipping will be deducted from the purchase amount, as we offer free shipping on all orders.
  • Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • If the return is due to an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping expenses.
  1. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy:
  • For live fish and plants, any DOA issues must be reported within 4 hours of the delivery timestamp.
  • To report a DOA, customers must provide clear pictures of the deceased fish or plant and send them to our customer support team.
  • Our team will review the information and, if verified, provide an appropriate resolution such as a refund or replacement.
  1. Shipping Costs for Livestock and Plants:
  • Please note that shipping costs for live fish and plants are non-refundable in the event of a return.
  • If you are returning a live fish or plant for any reason other than it being Dead on Arrival, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  1. Packaging and Handling:
  • We take utmost care in packaging and handling live fish and plants to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
  • Please open and inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If you notice any issues or damage, contact us immediately with photographic evidence.
  1. Cancellations and Modifications:
  • Cancellations or modifications to orders can only be made before the items are shipped. Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be changed or canceled.
  1. Availability and Substitutions:
  • While we strive to keep our inventory up to date, there may be rare instances where an item becomes unavailable after you place an order.
  • In such cases, we reserve the right to substitute the out-of-stock item with a comparable alternative. If this occurs, we will notify you promptly.
  1. Disclaimer:
  • Please be aware that keeping fish and aquatic plants requires proper knowledge and care.
  • We are not responsible for any issues arising from improper care, handling, or maintenance of the fish and plants after delivery.
  1. Privacy Policy:
  • We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
  1. Governing Law:
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

  • Please read 'Terms and Conditions' carefully.
  • We do not issue refunds for any livestock. Instead we will offer a store credit for the purchase price. If the same item is not available you may use the store credit for another livestock item.
  • There will be no refunds or returns on live items.
  • Livestock purchased with store credit will not be replaced or refunded. We do not replace replacements.
  • Store credits do not apply towards free shipping minimum.  You must spend over $100 to qualify for free shipping. Not including store credit. Discounts that reduce your order below $100 will disqualify you for free shipping.
  • Please do not discard specimens without our consent as this will void our guarantee. 
  • Store credits will be valid for 1 year after the issue date.  If the store credit is not used within 1 year of issuing it will be invalidated.
  • Store credits will be issued via store discount code and will not apply towards free shipping.
  • If your deceased animal goes 'missing' or gets 'eaten', we will not provide a store credit. Many missing animals are hiding and are not deceased. It is your responsibility to provide proof of the deceased specimen.
  • Seven-day guarantee begins on the initial delivery date. 
  • Customer must be present at the location to receive order and must sign for package on the first delivery attempt -- even if Carrier is late. 
  • If your order is "forwarded" to another address this will void your guarantee, the shipping address must be the final destination.
  • If your order is delayed you are still required to receive it and acclimate all contents before contacting us. Delayed orders will be handled on a customer to customer basis.
  • Customer must follow all acclimating procedures even if animals appear dead. While we pack with the utmost care, fish may be stressed from shipping and will become more lively after acclimation and rest. 
  • We will not be responsible for livestock that has died as a result of being harassed or picked on by other fish. 
  • Canceled orders will be issued a store credit valid for 1 year or will be refunded minus 4% processing fee.
  • It is illegal to file a charge-back claim without first contacting us.
  • Sorry, we do not issue credit or refunds for any shipping costs. We ship small orders as a courtesy. Honestly they do not make sense for us or our customers due to the high cost of Priority Overnight Shipping.
